The golf course is still unfortunately closed and still struggling to dry up in several areas. We have had frosts everyday this week even dropping down to -3 on some days.
These temperatures have delayed the recovery process after the long winter even more.
Several fairways are very brown with little signs of life at the moment but when the temperature rises we will start to see some recovery.
We have been working hard on the greens and have scarified , overseeded, top dressed and fertilized. The covers have been put back on to aid faster germination.
As the weather is good this weekend , the staff will be raking and brushing the fairways where possible to stimulate new growth and continue with important work on the watering system and drainage projects.
