I wanted to update you on the latest maintenance efforts taking place around the course.
Our ongoing battle against larvae infestation on the greens remains a top priority. Following our midsummer overseeding and the application of additional fertilizer to alleviate stress on the turf caused by the larvae, we are pleased to report significant recovery and a vast improvement in the quality of the putting surfaces.
This week, our focus intensifies towards the upcoming klubbmesterskap. We aim to cut cut down some high rough areas around the course as we now have our machine returned back to us, repaired and ready to go.😊
The greens will undergo daily single cutting and periodic rolling to ensure they remain smooth and fast. During the championship weekend, we will cut and roll the greens on the same day, with fairways and foregreens also receiving attention both days.
We kindly ask for your continued cooperation in respecting certain areas of the course that are under stress. Due to ongoing drainage challenges from wet weather we urge caution with trolleys to minimize damage to sensitive areas. While we are unable to mark all wet spots with stakes, we appreciate your vigilance in avoiding these areas to help protect the grass.
